Comedian/actor Jim Gaffigan has a secret second family in the upcoming bad-father comedy "Being Frank," for which an official trailer has been released.

The indie film, which also stars Logan Miller (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), and Samantha Mathis (Billions), centers on a traveling businessman named Frank (Gaffigan) who is caught red-handed by his rebellious teenage son, Philip (Miller), who has just discovered that Frank is secretly living across town with an entirely different family, and has decided to blackmail him for it.

Indie film producer Miranda Bailey, who has produced such films as "The Diary of a Teenage Girl," "Super," and "Swiss Army Man," directed the comedy, which premiered at last year's SXSW Film Festival.

Co-starring Alex Karpovsky (Girls) and Daniel Rashid (Bodied), "Being Frank" is scheduled to open in select theaters on June 14th, just in time for Father's Day.

synopsis:
It's 1992, the year Grunge music becomes mainstream hitting middle American teenagers directly in their angst. Phillip longs to leave his small town for music school in The Big Apple. His dreams are dashed when his overbearing father, Frank, played by Jim Gaffigan, forbids it.

In retaliation to his father's dictatorial parenting, he sneaks away for a wild spring break. However, when he crosses state lines he instead finds a charming lake community where he spots his father with another woman. Turns out, his father lives in this town and has an entire other family. With this new heartbreaking information Philip realizes he can wallow in his father's deceit or take matters into his own hands.
