Sienna Miller (American Sniper, The Loudest Voice) plays a working-class, low-income Pennsylvania woman whose life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter (Sky Ferreira) suddenly goes missing, leaving her to raise her infant grandson alone in this heart-wrenching small-town drama, for which an official trailer has been released.

Co-starring Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Will Sasso (MADtv), and, Amy Madigan (Field of Dreams), "American Woman" is the third feature film from music video/commercial director Jake Scott (Plunkett & Macleane, Welcome to the Rileys), who is also known as the son of legendary director Ridley Scott.

Written by Brad Ingelsby, the screenwriter of the gritty crime dramas "Out of the Furnace" and "Run All Night," "American Woman" earned mixed reviews when it premiered at last year's Toronto International Film Festival, though Miller's performance was mostly praised by critics.

The film is now scheduled to open in select U.S. theaters starting June 14th. Watch the trailer, above.
