Check out the official trailer for "It's Bruno," the new Netflix original comedy series about a guy and his dog.

New York rapper/filmmaker Solvan 'Slick' Naim writes, directs and stars in this slice-of-life comedy series that follows Brooklyn dog-lover Malcom and his adorable puggle companion, Bruno, as they stroll through the streets of Bushwick, while trying to avoid the local riff-raff.

Featuring guest appearances by Rob Morgan (Mudbound, Stranger Things), Shakira Barrera (GLOW, Queen of the South), and comedian Donnell Rawlings (Chappelle's Show, Spider-Man 2), the eight-episode Netflix comedy is created by Solvan Naim, based on his 2015 short film of the same name.

Besides making music as a rapper, Naim has been quite busy lately working as a television director and has directed episodes of NBC's "The Blacklist," FX's "Snowfall," and STARZ's "Power."

"It's Bruno: Season 1" premieres May 17th on Netflix.
