Succession: Season 2 — Official Teaser

added: Wed, May 1st '19

HBO has released the first official teaser for Season 2 of "Succession," a pitch-black comedy-drama series about the cut-throat antics of a wealthy, narcissistic, dysfunctional New York family, who are all vying for control of their father's multi-billion-dollar media company.

Created by acclaimed British writer Jesse Armstrong (In the Loop, Four Lions) and executive produced by Adam McKay (Big Short, Vice), the HBO series stars veteran Scottish actor Brian Cox as Logan Roy, a megalomaniac billionaire/media mogul who, despite his failing health and declining mental state, refuses to step down and hand over power to his four conniving adult children, played by Jeremy Strong (Big Short), Kieran Culkin (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Sarah Snook (Steve Jobs), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller's Day Off).

Co-starring Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, and Justine Lupe, "Succession: Season 2" is scheduled to premiere in August on HBO.

The Roy family -- Logan Roy and his four children -- controls one of the biggest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world.

SUCCESSION tracks their lives as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their aging father begins to step back from the company.
