When a massive sinkhole suddenly opens up and unleashes a giant mole-like demon creature, an elite British boarding school becomes ground zero for carnage and mayhem.

Check out the official U.S. trailer for the British horror comedy "Slaughterhouse Rulez," in which Simon Pegg and Michael Sheen star as two faculty members of a prestigious boarding school in England where young teenage students are attacked by hideous monsters.

Among those playing the students are Finn Cole (from the TNT series "Animal Kingdom"), Asa Butterfield (from "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" and the Netflix series "Sex Education"), Hermione Corfield (from "xXx: Return of Xander Cage"), and Isabella Laughland (from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1 & 2").

"Slaughterhouse Rulez" hails from English psychedelic-rock musician turned filmmaker Crispian Mills, who previously made his feature debut with 2012's cult horror comedy "A Fantastic Fear of Everything," which starred Simon Pegg.

Co-starring Jo Hartley (from "Eddie the Eagle") and featuring guest appearances by Nick Frost and Margot Robbie, "Slaughterhouse Rulez," which was released in the UK in October, is making its way to the States in a couple of weeks, hitting theaters and digital on May 17th.
