Welcome to Mickey Rourke's nightmare!

The "Sin City" actor plays a creepy film projectionist in the official trailer for "Nightmare Cinema," the new horror anthology film featuring five spine-chilling tales from five acclaimed horror directors: Joe Dante (Gremlins, The Howling), David Slade (30 Days of Night, Black Mirror), Mick Garris (Stephen King's The Stand, Sleepwalkers ), Ryuhei Kitamura (Versus, No One Lives), and Alejandro Brugues (Juan of the Dead).

In addition to Rourke, the film includes appearances by Richard Chamberlain, Adam Godley, Annabeth Gish, Zarah Mahler, Faly Rakotohavana, and Elizabeth Reaser.

Revolving around an old, spooky movie theater where a phantom-like figure works as the projectionist, the anthology film follows a group of unsuspecting moviegoers as they witness their deepest and darkest fears projected on screen.

"Nightmare Cinema" is hitting theaters and on VOD starting June 21st.

synopsis:
A series of down-on-their-luck individuals enter the decrepit and spine-chilling Rialto theater, only to have their deepest and darkest fears brought to life on the silver screen by The Projectionist -- a mysterious, ghostly figure who holds the nightmarish futures of all who attend his screenings. By the time our patrons realize the truth, escape is no longer an option. For once the ticket is torn, their fate is sealed at Nightmare Cinema.
