Will Smith plays a world-class assassin who, after years of heartache and pain, finally meets his match -- a younger version of himself -- in this sci-fi-tinged action thriller, for which the first official trailer has been released.

Set in the near future, "Gemini Man" sees Smith as Henry Brogan, a seasoned operative who is shocked to learn that he is being hunted down by someone who possesses the exact same killing skills and abilities -- someone who has "all of his gifts without his pain." He is being pursued by none other than his clone, a 25-year-old version of himself (also played here by Smith, via a digital de-aging technology).

The film also stars Clive Owen (Children of Men), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane), and Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange).

"Gemini Man" is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Ang Lee (Life of Pi, Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) and produced by action maestro Jerry Bruckheimer (Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean, Armageddon, etc.), and it's currently scheduled to hit theaters on October 11th.
