Kevin Costner gets right back on the horse as he once again plays John Dutton, the menacing patriarch of a powerful Montana ranching family in the official trailer for Season 2 of Paramount Network's top-rated drama "Yellowstone."

The series is a modern-day western thriller that revolves around the cutthroat business and political dealings of a wealthy, well-connected rancher who has raised all of his children to be loyal minions.

Taylor Sheridan, the Oscar-nominated writer of "Hell or High Water" and "Sicario," created the series. He also wrote and directed the entire first season, which centered on the Dutton family as they went up against a cunning land developer (Danny Huston) and the chief of the local Indian reservation (played by Hell or High Water's Gil Birmingham).

In addition to Costner, the cast also includes Wes Bentley (Interstellar), Kelly Reilly (True Detective), and Luke Grimes (American Sniper) as Dutton's adult children. Cole Hauser (Olympus Has Fallen, Pitch Black) co-stars as Dutton's loyal ranch foreman and ex-convict who has reputation for getting things done, no matter the cost.

Rounding out the cast are Kelsey Asbille Chow, Michaela Conlin, Ryan Bingham, and Jefferson White, while Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers) has been added to Season 2 as Dutton's new adversary.

"Yellowstone" returns with its second season on June 19th, only on the Paramount Network.
