Dolph Lundgren (Aquaman, Creed II) plays an elite military officer leading a team of rookie soldiers in the trailer for the low-budget zombie apocalyptic thriller "Dead Trigger," which is based on the horror video game app of the same name.

The former '90s action star plays Captain Walker, a veteran serviceman who is given the task of commanding a team of young soldiers on a mission to infiltrate a zombie-infested city. His team is trying to track down a possible zombie cure located inside an abandoned scientific government building.

Directed by Mike Cuff and Scott Windhauser, and produced by "Machete Kills" producers Marina and Sergei Bespalov, the film co-stars Autumn Reeser (The O.C.), Romeo Miller (Empire), Isaiah Washington (The 100), and Joel Gretsch (The 4400).

"Dead Trigger" hits theaters and VOD on May 3rd.
