The Perfect Date — Official Trailer

Heartthrob Noah Centineo (from the Netflix hit teen film "To All the Boys I've Loved Before") plays a paid teenage chaperone in the official trailer for the new romantic drama "The Perfect Date."

In what is likely another teen-centric hit for Netflix, Centineo plays a high school senior who, like most kids his age, needs to save money for college. Miraculously, he comes up with a winning idea -- he is willing to offer his services to be 'the perfect date' for any girl who needs a chaperone for a night. After creating an app where clients can customize his personality, he is soon off to the races.

But things get complicated when he starts to develop feelings between one of his clients, a socially awkward rebel misfit (played by Laura Marano, from "Austin & Ally"), and his longtime high school crush ("Riverdale" star Camila Mendes).

Directed by Chris Nelson (Date and Switch, Ass Backwards), "The Perfect Date" is set to premiere April 12th, only on Netflix.

To save up for college, Brooks Rattigan (Noah Centineo) creates an app where anyone can pay him to play the perfect stand-in boyfriend for any occasion.
