Kumail Nanjiani is a struggling stand-up comedian who just sold his soul for fame and fortune. And Adam Scott is a paranoid traveler stuck on a terrifying flight.

These are some of the scenes from the new contemporary reboot of the classic 1960s anthology series "The Twilight Zone," which is executive produced by comedian-turned-blockbuster horror filmmaker Jordan Peele (Get Out, US).

Set to premiere on April 1st (April's Fools Day) on CBS All Access, the new "The Twilight Zone" streaming series will feature a couple of episodes called "The Comedian" (starring Nanjiani) and "Nightmare at 30,000 Feet" (starring Scott).

CBS has just released a couple of new trailers, offering a peek at these episodes, which also stars Tracy Morgan (30 Rock) as a devilish deal-maker and Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley) as a dubious airplane passenger.

Along with his executive producing duties, Peele will also serve as the series' host and narrator, a role made famous by legendary sci-fi writer and "Twilight Zone" creator Rod Serling.

Next stop ahead The Twilight Zone.

CBS All Access' upcoming reimagining of the original series, which premiered in 1959, will debut in early 2019. Jordan Peele will serve as host and narrator of the new series, a role made famous by creator Rod Serling, who used socially conscious storytelling to explore the human condition and culture of the times.
