Here's your first look at Isabela Moner (from "Instant Family," "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" and "Transformers: The Last Knight") as the famed Latina adventurer in the upcoming live-action Dora the Explorer movie.

Debuting today during the broadcast of Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, the first official trailer for "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" is here, and it offers the first footage of the action adventure comedy about a tenacious teenage jungle explorer.

Here, Dora is sent to the city for the first time in her life, where she must navigate the treacherous halls of high school. But she soon finds herself embarking on a perilous adventure to save her missing parents (played by Michael Pena and Eva Longoria) who are lost somewhere inside an ancient South American jungle city. Dora gets some much needed help from her best friend, Boots the monkey (voiced by Danny Trejo -- though sadly we don't hear him in this trailer) and her trusty cousin Diego (played by newcomer Jeffrey Wahlberg; nephew of Mark and Donnie Wahlberg).

The film is directed by acclaimed British comedy helmer James Bobin, known for directing episodes of "Da Ali G Show" and "Flight of the Conchords." Bobin also helmed the hit Jason Segel musical comedy "The Muppets" and its sequel "Muppets Most Wanted." He also previously directed the Disney fantasy sequel "Alice Through the Looking Glass."

Co-starring Mexican comedian superstar Eugenio Derbez as a mysterious jungle inhabitant with Oscar-winner Benicio del Toro as the voice of Swiper the Fox, "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" is coming to theaters August 2nd.

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever -- High School.

Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Pena) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.
