As if things couldn't get more stranger. The summer of 1985 is going to be a very, very different summer for the people of Hawkins. Kids are growing older. Friendships are going to be tested. And more dark secrets are going to be revealed. It's going to be a crazy, wild season filled with malls, mustaches, and monsters! "Happy Fourth of July!"

Here's your first official peek at the eagerly anticipated third season of Netflix's uber-popular sci-fi horror series "Stranger Things," which follows a close-knit group of Indiana locals -- including police chief Jim Hopper (David Harbor), divorced single mother Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), and a teenage girl with psychokinetic powers named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) -- as they try to prevent their small suburban town of Hawkins from being devoured by a dark, horrific dimension called the "Upside Down."

Created, written and directed by the Duffer Brothers, the Netflix series will also see the return of cast members Finn Wolfhard (as Mike), Noah Schnapp (as Will), Gaten Matarazzo (as Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (as Lucas), Priah Ferguson (as Erica), Natalia Dyer (as Nancy), Charlie Heaton (as Jonathan), Joe Keery (as Steve), Sadie Sink (as Max), Dacre Montgomery (as Billy), Cara Buono (as Karen), and Brett Gelman (as Murray).

Among those joining the cast of Season 3 are Maya Hawke as Robin, Steve's angst-ridden co-worker from the local mall ice cream shop; Jake Busey as a new mysterious bad-guy scientist, and Cary Elwes as Larry Kline, the dubious mayor of Hawkins.

"Stranger Things 3" is due to premiere this summer on Netflix beginning July 4th.
