After lying to his hard-to-pleased grandmother, a Mumbai street photographer convinces a shy stranger to pose as his fiancee in this sweet charming romance drama from Ritesh Batra, the acclaimed Indian filmmaker who previously made the Cannes-winning film "The Lunchbox" and also Netflix's Robert Redford-Jane Fonda romance "Our Souls at Night."

"Photograph," which premiered to glowing reviews at this year's Sundance Film Festival, stars Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui (The Lunchbox, Gangs of Wasseypur) as the struggling, yet kindhearted freelance cameraman.

Acquired by Amazon Studios, "Photograph" is slated to hit U.S. theaters May 17th. Watch the official U.S. trailer, above.
