Jaime King (Sin City, Hart of Dixie) tries to survive the zombie apocalypse in the official trailer for "Black Summer," Netflix's new horror action series from the creators of "Z Nation."
King stars as a mother who, amid the swirling chaos of a zombie outbreak, is suddenly separated from her young teenage daughter. She soon joins a group of armed survivors as she sets out to search for her missing child.
Set in the "Z Nation" universe, the eight-episode Netflix series is hailing from "Z Nation" co-creator Karl Schaefer and genre filmmaker/TV director John Hyams (Universal Soldier: Regeneration, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning).
"Black Summer: Season 1" is slated to premiere April 11th on Netflix.

Set in the dark, early days of a zombie apocalypse, BLACK SUMMER stars Jaime King as Rose, a mother torn from her daughter who embarks upon a harrowing journey to find her. Thrust alongside a small group of American refugees, these complete strangers must find the strength they need to fight their way back to loved ones. But in order for Rose and her team to brave this hostile new world, they will need to make brutal decisions to contend with zombies - and each other.
