"The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann" is a new Netflix original true-crime documentary series about the shocking 2007 missing-child case of a three-year-old British girl named Madeleine McCann, who vanished from her bed while staying with her family at a vacation resort in Portugal.
Edited and pieced together from 120 hours of interviews, never-before-heard testimonies from investigators, archival news footage, and reenactments, the eight-part docu-series is directed by acclaimed documentarian Chris Smith, who previously made the Netflix documentaries "Fyre: The Greatest Party that Never Happened" and "Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond."
