Have you ever wished "Game of Thrones" had a terrifying episode where a mad medieval warrior embarked on a quest to cut off the head of a forest monster? Well, this might be right up your alley!
Check out the official trailer for "The Head Hunter," a stylish atmospheric horror about a heavily armored huntsman who sets out on a mission of revenge -- to slay the monster that killed his young beloved daughter years ago.
The film stars Norwegian newcomer Christopher Rygh, who recently appeared in a couple of episodes of Netflix's medieval series "The Last Kingdom."
"The Head Hunter" comes from indie horror filmmaker Jordan Downey, director of the cult, ultra-low budget, Kickstarter-supported demonic turkey comedy "ThanksKilling" and its sequel "ThanksKilling 3."
Co-written by Downey and his "ThanksKilling" co-scribe Kevin Stewart, who also serves as cinematographer, "The Head Hunter" is coming to select theaters and VOD beginning April 5th.
synopsis:
