After spending their entire high school years working on getting good grades and getting into good colleges, two book-smart best friends agree to let it all out on the last day of school to finally show their fellow schoolmates that they're actually a couple of "fun" girls.

Check out the official red band trailer for "Booksmart," a new coming-of-age high school comedy from producers Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, which is marking the feature directorial debut of actress Olivia Wilde.

Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising) and Kaitlyn Dever (Last Man Standing, Detroit) star in this R-rated teen comedy as Molly and Amy, best friends who, after years of dedicating themselves to their school studies, have decided to finally let loose and party it up on the night of their high school graduation.

The cast of the film also includes Molly Gordon, Jessica Williams, Lisa Kudrow, Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis, and Michael Patrick O'Brien.

Written by Emily Halpern & Sarah Haskins (Trophy Wife) and Susanna Fogel (The Spy Who Dumped Me) and Katie Silberman (Set It Up), "Booksmart" just premiered at SXSW this past weekend. It's also scheduled to hit theaters May 24th.
