While trying to prevent the total destruction of the world, a finicky angel (Michael Sheen) and a freewheeling demon (David Tennant) must form an unlikely partnership to find an 11-year-old orphan boy who happens to be the Antichrist.

Check out the official full-length trailer for "Good Omens," Amazon's new original series based on late, fantasy writer Terry Pratchett and comic book writer Neil Gaiman's award-winning 1990 novel of the same name.

The six-episode limited series stars Sheen and Tennant as the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley, respectively. Meanwhile, Jon Hamm (Mad Men) co-stars as Archangel Gabriel, with Oscar-winner Frances McDormand as the voice of God.

The cast of the Amazon series also includes Michael McKean (Better Call Saul), Mireille Enos (The Killing), Miranda Richardson (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim Uprising), Derek Jacobi (Murder on the Orient Express), and Nick Offerman (Parks and Rec), among others.

Directed by British TV helmer Douglas Mackinnon (Doctor Who, Outlander) and written by Neil Gaiman, who also serves as executive producer, "Good Omens" is set to premiere Friday, May 31st on Amazon Prime.
