Ari Aster, the acclaimed writer-director of "Hereditary," is back with another mind-bending spine-chiller that will certainly make you rethink those summer festival plans.

Check out the first official teaser trailer for "Midsommar," Aster's eagerly anticipated follow-up to his horror hit "Hereditary."

The thriller stars English actress Florence Pugh (star of this year's wrestling comedy "Fighting with My Family" and the recent spy-thriller mini-series "The Little Drummer Girl") as a young woman who, while seeking to re-connect with her spiritual self, has decided to attend a "crazy nine-day festival that only happens every ninety years."

But once there, she soon realizes something is amiss. Did she just agreed to participate in the summer activities of a doomsday cult? And you thought 'Burning Man' was extreme.

In addition to Pugh, the film also stars Jack Reynor (Sing Street), Will Poulter (Black Mirror: Bandersnatch), William Jackson Harper (TV's The Good Place), Swedish actress Liv Mjones, and newcomer Isabelle Grill.

"Midsommar" will be hitting theaters sometime in the mid-summer.
