Critters: A New Binge — Official Trailer

added: Fri, Mar 1st '19

From the creators who brought you the low-budget cheesy horror movie "Zombeavers" comes a new off-the-wall horror comedy series based on the cult 1980s "Critters" film franchise, featuring an army of flesh-eating doll-sized space invaders with matted hair and razor-sharp teeth.

"Critters: A New Binge" is an all-new original series exclusively for the subscription horror-focused streaming service Shudder. The eight-episode series is directed by Jordan Rubin and written by Rubin and his writing partners Jon and Al Kaplan -- they're the team behind "Zombeavers" and the upcoming darkly comic A.I. thriller "‚ÄčThe Drone."

Starring Joey Morgan (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse), Stephi Chin-Salvo (iZombie), Bzhaun Rhoden (Van Helsing), and Christian Sloan (Star Trek Beyond) with guest appearances by comedians Gilbert Gottfried and Thomas Lennon, the horror series follows a group of high schoolers and their families as they try to survive a terrifying alien invasion led by ferocious space critters.

"Critters: A New Binge" is due to premiere Thursday, March 21st on Shudder. Watch the official trailer, above.

Pursued by intergalactic bounty hunters, the Critters return to Earth on a secret mission and encounter Christopher, a lovelorn high-schooler, his best friend Charlie, his crush Dana, and his mom Veronica - whose past will come back to bite them. Who will survive? And who will be eaten?
