Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell stars opposite four-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams in FX's forthcoming limited series "Fosse/Verdon," for which an official trailer has been released.

Rockwell portrays legendary choreographer/filmmaker Bob Fosse (known for "Cabaret," "Chicago," and "All That Jazz") and Williams portrays Fosse's long-time muse and dancing partner, legendary Broadway dancer Gwen Verdon in this eight-episode biographical drama, which chronicles their tumultuous decades-long relationship that was constantly tested by Fosse's infidelity.

Based on Sam Wasson's best-selling biography, which detailed the complicated life of extraordinary artist Bob Fosse, who is the only person ever to win an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Tony award in the same year, yet was also a well-known womanizer plagued by insecurities and addictions.

The FX mini-series, which co-stars Margaret Qualley (HBO's The Leftovers, The Nice Guys) as renowned Broadway dancer Ann Reinking who became Fosse's star protegee and later his romantic partner, is executive produced by three of the top Broadway artists working today: Steven Levenson (Tony Award-winning theatre writer of "Dear Evan Hansen"), Thomas Kail (Tony Award-winning theatre director of "Hamilton"), and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Tony Award-winning creator and star of "Hamilton").

"Fosse/Verdon" premieres Tuesday, April 9th on the FX network.
