The Satanic Temple co-founder Lucien Greaves presents a compelling, and provocative argument for protecting one of America's founding principles, the separation of church and state, in the upcoming Magnolia Pictures documentary, which is exploring the rise of the new Satanic opposition movement in the U.S.

Directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Penny Lane (Nuts!, Our Nixon), "Hail Satan?" is a tongue-in-cheek portrait of The Satanic Temple, a political activist group of misfits and outcasts led by free-speech provocateur Lucien Greaves who mockingly use Satanic imagery and Satanic symbols to protest Christian theocracy, pushing back against America's new wave of the religious right.

"Hail Satan?" premiered to mostly strong reviews at Sundance this year. The documentary is now slated for an April 19th theatrical release.
