Check out a new official teaser for "Fosse/Verdon," FX's upcoming limited series about the tumultuous relationship between legendary choreographer/filmmaker Bob Fosse and legendary Broadway dancer Gwen Verdon.

Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell portrays Bob Fosse, who in the 1960s and '70s was a world-renowned dancer, Tony Award-winning choreographer (Cabaret, Sweet Charity, Pippin, Chicago), and also an Oscar-winning film director (Cabaret, Lenny, All That Jazz). Fosse was also a well-known drug-and-sex-addicted philanderer, despite being married to his longtime collaborator/muse, Tony Award-winning dancer Gwen Verdon, portrayed by four-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams.

While married to Verdon, Fosse created and directed some of the greatest Broadway musicals in history. He also ruined his marriage by having numerous extramarital affairs, sometimes with his leading ladies.

Steven Levenson, writer of the Tony Award-winning musical "Dear Evan Hansen," writes and executive produces the eight-episode biographical drama, which is based on Sam Wasson's best-selling biography "Fosse."

Tony-and-Emmy Award-winning theatre director Thomas Kail (In the Heights, Hamilton, Grease: Live) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (creator and star of "Hamilton") are also executive producing the FX series, with Kail directing the first episode.

"Fosse/Verdon" is due to premiere Tuesday, April 9th.
