With a director and a cast this good, sometimes you don't need footage to tease, you just need names.

Check out the official "announcement" teaser for "The Irishman," the hotly-anticipated mob epic from Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese that features an all-star cast led by Oscar-winners Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci.

Based on the book "I Heard You Paint Houses" by Charles Brandt, the forthcoming Netflix original film tells the incredible true story of Frank Sheeran (portrayed by De Niro), a notorious hit-man who became a close associate of Teamsters union leader Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino).

The film, which was considered as a long-gestating passion project for Scorsese and De Niro, will take place over several decades and incorporate digital effects to "de-age" De Niro, Pacino, and few others from the main cast.

Written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List, Gangs of New York), and also co-starring Harvey Keitel, Bobby Cannavale, and Ray Romano, "The Irishman" is coming to theaters sometime in the fall, and also will stream on Netflix.
