Diane Keaton sets out to prove that you're never too old to shake your pom-poms.

Check out the official trailer for the upcoming feelgood comedy "Poms," in which the Academy Award winner plays a recent retiree who, after moving into a mostly all-female retirement community, decides to shake things up and start a cheerleading club with the help of her fellow elderly neighbors, played by Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Pam Grier (Jackie Brown), Phyllis Somerville (TV's Outsiders), Carol Sutton (Ray), Celia Weston (TV's Modern Family), and Rhea Perlman (TV's Cheers).

Alisha Boe, from the Netflix series "13 Reasons Why," co-stars as a local high school cheerleader who is enlisted to give the squad of elderly women a few pointers in time for an upcoming cheering exhibition.

Directed by documentarian Zara Hayes (Dian Fossey: Secrets in the Mist, The Battle of the Sexes), "Poms" is scheduled to hit theaters May 10th, just in time for Mother's Day.
