It was one of the most talked-about films at Sundance this year, and it quickly prompted the Michael Jackson estate to issue a fiery rebuke. In essence, it's the documentary the Jackson family doesn't want you to watch as it examines Michael Jackson's alleged sexual abuse of two underage boys.

Check out the official trailer for "Leaving Neverland," a two-part, four-hour HBO documentary from BAFTA-winning documentarian Dan Reed (Terror in Mumbai, Terror at the Mall, The Paedophile Hunter).

The film offers a chance to hear from two former Michael Jackson fans -- James Safechuck and Wade Robson -- who both claimed that they, while staying at the King of Pop's famed Neverland Ranch, were molested separately at a young age by the iconic pop superstar.

Safechuck and Robson, now adult men in their late 30s and early 40s, both sued the Jackson estate back in 2013. Their case was eventually dismissed. The two-part documentary gives them a forum to tell their side of the story.

"Leaving Neverland" is slated to air Sunday, March 3rd and Monday, March 4th on HBO.

synopsis:
LEAVING NEVERLAND is a two-part documentary exploring the separate but parallel experiences of two young boys, James Safechuck, at age ten, and Wade Robson, at age seven, both of whom were befriended by Michael Jackson.

Through gut-wrenching interviews with Safechuck, now 37, and Robson, now 41, as well as their mothers, wives and siblings, the film crafts a portrait of sustained abuse, exploring the complicated feelings that led both men to confront their experiences after both had a young son of his own.
