DC has released a brand-new extended trailer for the upcoming streaming series "Doom Patrol," which is the live-action adaptation of the DC Comics superhero team of the same name.

As the second original live-action superhero series to be released by the subscription-based streaming service, DC Universe, "Doom Patrol" focuses on a team of super-powered outcasts, including Robotman (The Mummy's Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (Magic Mike's Matt Bomer), Elasti-Girl (Two and a Half Men's April Bowlby), Crazy Jane (Orange Is the New Black's Diane Guerrero), and a new re-imagined Cyborg (The First Purge's Joivan Wade).

Penny Dreadful's Timothy Dalton also stars as Dr. Niles Caulder, aka The Chief, a rogue mad scientist who has recruited each physically and emotionally scarred member of the Doom Patrol.

Alan Tudyk (Rogue One, Firefly) co-stars as Mr. Nobody, a ruthless super-villain looking to take over the world.

Executive produced by Jeremy Carver (Supernatural), "Doom Patrol: Season 1" premieres this Friday, February 15 on DC Universe, with new episodes to be released on a weekly basis.

synopsis:
DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC's most beloved groups of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief).

The Doom Patrol's members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities -- but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence -- and to protect Earth from what they find.

Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.
