Cinemax has released a brand-new official teaser trailer for "Warrior," an upcoming martial-arts street gang series based on the writings of legendary action superstar Bruce Lee.

Set in 19th century San Francisco's Chinatown, the ten-episode drama stars London-born actor Andrew Koji (from Netflix's The Innocents) as a Chinese immigrant and gifted fighter who is thrust into a violent feud between warring Chinese street gangs, known historically as "The Tong Wars."

The concept of the series came from an original treatment written in the early 1970s by the late, martial-arts icon Bruce Lee.

Shannon Lee (Bruce's daughter) is executive producing the Cinemax series alongside "Banshee" co-creator Jonathan Tropper and "Fast and Furious" director Justin Lin.

"Warrior: Season 1" is currently slated to premiere on Cinemax beginning Friday, April 5th.
