Alfre Woodard goes on a cross-country road trip in search of adventure and romance in the newly-released trailer for "Juanita."

After recently co-starring in the "Luke Cage" series and appearing on a couple of episodes of "A Series of Unfortunate Events," Woodard has once again teamed up with Netflix for a new road-trip dramedy about a middle-aged African American woman, named Juanita, who becomes so fed up with her dead-end job and her three ungrateful grown-up children that she buys a bus ticket to a random town and sets off on a journey of self-discovery.

Along the way, Juanita meets a colorful cast of down-to-earth people and falls in love with a younger man. But more importantly, Juanita eventually gets to rediscover her lust for life.

Based on the novel "Dancing on the Edge of the Roof" by Sheila Williams, the Netflix original film also stars LaTanya Richardson Jackson (Show Me a Hero, Luke Cage), Adam Beach (Suicide Squad, Hostiles), and Blair Underwood as a fantasized version of himself.

Directed by veteran TV actor/director Clark Johnson (S.W.A.T., Homeland, The Shield, The Wire, Homicide), "Juanita" is scheduled to premiere on Netflix March 8th.
