Gabrielle Union reprises her role from "Bad Boys II" as former DEA agent Sydney "Syd" Burnett in the official trailer for the upcoming spin-off series, which finds Syd in Los Angeles, now working as a LAPD detective alongside a new badass partner, officer Nancy McKenna, played by Sin City's Jessica Alba.

Created by screenwriter George Gallo (Bad Boys, Midnight Run, The Whole Ten Yards) and executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer along with Union and Alba, "L.A.'s Finest" is a new 13-episode police procedural dramedy that marks the first original series for the cable company Spectrum.

Co-starring Ghostbusters' Ernie Hudson as Syd's father, "L.A.'s Finest" will premiere exclusively on Spectrum's Video service beginning Monday, May 13th. The first three episodes will be released for free and without ads, after which new episodes will air exclusively on Spectrum every Monday until the finale.

From the universe of the Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay "Bad Boys" franchise, L.A.'s FINEST follows Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, who has seemingly left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex history, Syd is forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret.

Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles while skirting the rules, and speed limits, Syd and Nancy become a force to be reckoned with -- on the streets, and in each other's lives.
