She played hero bomber Paige Tico who sacrificed herself in the opening moments of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." And she also played a deadly elf assassin in Netflix's fantasy/crime actioner "Bright." Vietnamese actress Veronica Ngo is back and she's once again kicking ass on screen.

This time, Ngo is playing a mother and former gangster who is desperately trying to rescue her kidnapped daughter from ruthless child-traffickers in the upcoming action thriller "Furie," for which an official U.S. trailer has been released.

The film, written and directed by Vietnam-born filmmaker Le Van Kiet (Gentle, House in the Alley), is being distributed in the States by Well Go USA Entertainment.

Produced by Ngo, "Furie" is due to hit U.S. theaters on March 1st. Watch the trailer, above.

synopsis:
When a little girl is kidnapped by a trafficking ring, they soon find they messed with the wrong child. Her mother, a notorious former gang leader, is close on their trail and will go to any lengths to bring her daughter home.
