Brie Larson shows off her fighting skills in a newly-released film clip from the much-anticipated superhero movie "Captain Marvel."

Larson plays the titular half-human, half-Kree intergalactic warrior who has traveled to Earth, circa the early 1990s, to hunt down a nefarious shape-shifting Skrull leader, played by Rogue One's Ben Mendelsohn.

In this 47-second action sequence, we see Larson's Captain Marvel chasing down her target on top of a speeding train. After a quick tussle with the Skrull villain, she is tossed off the side. While she dangles off the edge of the train, the camera quickly pans down to the street where we see a car in close pursuit. Behind the wheel is S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Sitting shotgun is Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). Because the film takes place in the 90s, they both look fairly younger and we assumed they have less experienced to handle such matters.

"The train is headed for a tunnel up ahead," Coulson says in a concerned voice. To which Fury instructs, "Let's greet them at the station."

Just before the train passes through the tunnel, Captain Marvel is able to shoot a couple of photon blasts, one nearly hitting her Skrull target and one blasting through the roof of the train. It's a big enough hole so she can jump through and land inside the train before the fast-approaching tunnel chops her into two. And the clip ends there.

Directed by filmmaking duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, "Captain Marvel," which is MCU's first female-fronted superhero movie, is arriving in theaters March 8th.
