Kevin Bacon and Straight Outta Compton's Aldis Hodge tackle crime and corruption in the first official trailer for Showtime's upcoming Boston-set crime series "City on a Hill," which is executive produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and based on an original idea by Affleck and series creator Chuck MacLean.

Set in the corrupt world of Boston's criminal justice system, circa 1992, the drama revolves around the unlikely partnership between a not-so-honest, drug-addled, yet hard-nosed FBI veteran (played by Bacon) and a young idealistic, morally upright assistant district attorney (played by Hodge). They agree to work together to solve a recent series of armed robberies, which may or may not have ties to the Boston police department.

Executive produced by "Homicide: Life on the Street" producer and "OZ" creator Tom Fontana, the series also co-stars Jonathan Tucker, Mark O'Brien, and Jill Hennessy.

Emmy-winning "Homeland" director Michael Cuesta, who previously helmed the thrillers "American Assassin" and "Kill the Messenger," directs the pilot episode of "City on a Hill," which is slated to premiere Sunday, June 16th on Showtime.
