An eccentric billionaire adopts six extraordinary children with special super-human abilities and raises them to be famous crime fighters. 17 years later on the day of their adoptive father's funeral, this dysfunctional clan of misfit superheroes reunite, only to discover that they have eight days to save the world.

Check out the new official trailer for Netflix's upcoming live-action adaptation of the award-winning Dark Horse comic book series by Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way and illustrator Gabriel Ba.

Playing the six 'Umbrella' heroes are Ellen Page (Juno, X-Men), Tom Hopper (Black Sails), Aidan Gallagher (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Robert Sheehan (Mortal Engines), Emmy Raver-Lampman (A Million Little Things), and David Castaneda (Sicario: Day of the Soldado).

Meanwhile, in flashback scenes, Colm Feore (House of Cards, The Chronicles of Riddick) plays eccentric billionaire inventor and "the Umbrella Academy" founder Sir Reginald Hargreeves, while British character actor Adam Godley (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Breaking Bad) provides the voice of Pogo the chimpanzee, who is Reginald's loyal butler and assistant.

Other cast members include R&B singer-turned-actress Mary J. Blige (Mudbound) as time-traveling hitwoman Cha-Cha, and Cameron Britton (Mindhunter) as Cha-Cha's partner-in-crime Hazel.

Executive produced by Steve Blackman (Fargo, Altered Carbon) alongside Jeremy Slater (creator of FOX's The Exorcist) with Chemical Romance's Gerard Way serving as co-executive producer and TV director Peter Hoar (Daredevil, Altered Carbon) helming the premiere episode, "The Umbrella Academy" is scheduled to debut February 15th, only on Netflix.
