Jesse Eisenberg and a bald-headed Alexander Skarsgard team up for an ambitious get-rich scheme in the official trailer for the darkly comic stock-market drama "The Hummingbird Project."

Eisenberg and Skarsgard play entrepreneurial cousins, Vincent and Anton, who believe they can potentially make millions of dollars if they construct a fiber-optic cable tunnel between Kansas and New Jersey, which would give their New York stock-trading company a millisecond head start.

But when the news of their project leaks out, Vincent and Anton find themselves in a tough competitive race against their old boss, who happens to be the world's most ruthless stock-trader (played here by Salma Hayek).

Acclaimed Canadian filmmaker Kim Nguyen, who previously made the Oscar-nominated foreign child-soldier thriller "War Witch" and the Tatiana Maslany-Dane DeHaan romantic drama "Two Lovers and a Bear," writes and directs "The Hummingbird Project," which is slated for a March 15th theatrical release. synopsis:
In this modern epic, filmmaker Kim Nguyen exposes the ruthless edge of our increasingly digital world.

Cousins from New York, Vincent (Jesse Eisenberg) and Anton (Alexander Skarsgard) are players in the high-stakes game of High-Frequency Trading, where winning is measured in milliseconds. Their dream? To build a straight fiber-optic cable line between Kansas and New Jersey, making them millions. But nothing is straightforward for this flawed pair. Anton is the brains, Vincent is the hustler, and together they push each other and everyone around them to the breaking point with their quixotic adventure. Constantly breathing down their necks is their old boss Eva Torres (Salma Hayek), a powerful, intoxicating and manipulative trader who will stop at nothing to come between them and beat them at their own game.
