Happy!: Season 2 — Official Trailer

Syfy has released the official trailer for Season 2 of "Happy!," the darkly comic ultra-violent crime series that stars "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" alum Christopher Meloni as Nick Sax, an ex-cop, hitman, alcoholic, and caring father.

Based on the best-selling graphic novel of the same name by comic book writer Grant Morrison and illustrator Darick Robertson, the series follows the crazed misadventures of a disgraced New York ex-detective-turned-alcoholic hitman (Christopher Meloni) who, after a near-death experience, wakes up from a coma and discovers that he now sees an imaginary blue winged horse named Happy (voiced by comedian Patton Oswalt).

While Season 1 of "Happy!" took place during Christmas, Season 2 is going to be set around the Easter holiday, in which Nick and Happy find themselves getting embroiled in a scandalous case involving a corrupt Catholic bishop.

Executive produced and directed by genre filmmaker Brian Taylor (Mom and Dad, the Crank Films), "Happy!" is due to return on Wednesday, March 27th on Syfy.
