Captain Marvel — New 'Special Look' Trailer

added: Mon, Jan 7th '19

Watch Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson as they take some playful potshots at each other in a new "special look" trailer for "Captain Marvel."

"Grunge is a good look for you," quips Jackson in the above preview. To which Larson shoots back, "Did you have a rough day, Agent Fury?"

In the upcoming 1990s-set female-led superhero movie, Larson stars as Carol Danvers, an elite Kree warrior who is sent to Earth to hunt down an elusive squad of space-invading aliens with shape-shifting abilities called the Skrulls.

Danvers was once a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot who, because of a random accident, had her human DNA fused with alien Kree DNA, which gave her incredible photon powers but also severe memory loss. And while she pieces together clues to her human past, she finds herself teaming up with a '90s-era Nick Fury (Jackson), who, at this point in his career, is a grouchy S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with two functioning eyes.

Co-starring Jude Law as Danvers' Kree commander/mentor, and Ben Mendelsohn as the main Skrull villain with Clark Gregg reprising his role as a young Agent Coulson, the action movie is directed and co-written by the filmmaking team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind, Half Nelson).

"Captain Marvel" is due out March 8th. Get tickets now.

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
