Mads Mikkelsen is keeping busy these days. Besides starring in the upcoming survival drama "Arctic," the "Hannibal" actor will be seen later this month in a new Netflix film "Polar," for which an official trailer has just been released.

Based on the Dark Horse graphic novel of the same name by Victor Santos, the action thriller sees Mikkelsen as a deadly one-eyed assassin named Duncan Vizla, a.k.a. the Black Kaiser.

While settling into retirement and living a quiet life off the grid, Duncan is suddenly pulled back into the game of killing when he discovers his former employer has sent an army of assassins to kill him.

Vanessa Hudgens co-stars as Duncan's unlikely companion, a young runaway girl named Camille. The rest of the cast includes "Vikings" actress Katheryn Winnick, comedian Matt Lucas, and "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville.

"Polar" is helmed by famed Swedish music video director Jonas Akerlund, who also just directed the black metal band drama "Lords of Chaos."

Featuring an original music score by EDM DJ/producer Deadmau5 (Dead Mouse aka Joel Zimmerman), "Polar" debuts on Netflix January 25th.
