Do you want to know how "Black Mirror" creator Charlie Brooker came up with "Bandersnatch," possibly one of the most innovative "Black Mirror" episodes to date?

Netflix has released a couple of behind-the-scenes featurettes, which shows exactly what went into the making of the highly inventive "Black Mirror" episode, Bandersnatch, which just premiered last week on the streaming platform.

So, what makes Bandersnatch so different from any other "Black Mirror" episode -- or any television episode for that matter -- is the fact that it's Netflix's first interactive offering for adults.

The whole feature-length episode revolves around a choose-your-own-adventure story structure, in which viewers have options to choose various plotlines. And in some cases, at different points throughout the Bandersnatch episode, the viewers can actually choose what the main character does next, and as a result, generate several different possible endings.

"Netflix asked us if we'd be interested in doing an interactive story," says "Black Mirror" creator Charlie Brooker in the above clip. "I knew I wanted to do another period episode and I thought, 'Well, what if you're controlling somebody in the past?' So it kind of spiraled from there."

"Black Mirror: Bandersnatch" is currently available to stream on Netflix.
