"Veep" stars Matt Walsh and Reid Scott fight over the same French woman in the trailer for the mid-life crisis dramedy "Under The Eiffel Tower."

Directed by indie filmmaker Archie Borders, "Under The Eiffel Tower" tells the bittersweet story of a lonely, recently unemployed middle-aged man named Stuart (Matt Walsh) who, on a lark, decides to travel to France for a couple of weeks.

After an awkward falling-out with his friends, Stuart finds himself on his own, but soon meets and falls in love with the woman of his dreams, a sophisticated wine connoisseur and vineyard owner (played by French actress Judith Godreche, of the Adam Scott-Jason Schwartzman indie comedy "The Overnight"). The problem is, Stuart also finds himself competing for her affection against a charming Scottish lothario (played here by "Veep" co-star Reid Scott).

The cast also includes David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer), Michaela Watkins (Casual), and Dylan Gelula (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), with an appearance by Gary Cole (Office Space).

"Under The Eiffel Tower" is hitting select theaters on February 8th and will then arrive on VOD and digital Feb. 12.

synopsis:
Stuart (Matt Walsh) is having a mid-life crisis. After losing his job, tagging along on his best friends' family vacation to Paris, and humiliating himself by proposing to their 24-year-old daughter, he teams up with Liam (Reid Scott), a self-proclaimed ladies' man. The two head off to the French countryside where they soon cross paths with Louise (Judith Godreche), a beautiful vineyard-owner. Love is on the horizon, but Stuart's going to have to get past a few hurdles -- and out of his own way -- in order to find it in this romantic coming-of-middle-age comedy.
