The Last Laugh — Official Trailer

added: Fri, Dec 28th '18

Chevy Chase and Richard Dreyfuss play two old-school entertainers trying to mount a comeback in the official trailer for the new Netflix original film "The Last Laugh."

Also starring Andie MacDowell, Kate Micucci, and Chris Parnell, the lighthearted road-trip comedy follows two retired septuagenarians as they reunite and then agree to give show business one last shot.

Dreyfuss stars as a former stand-up comedian named Buddy Green, who gave up his comedy career 50 years ago to become a podiatrist. Chase plays Al Hart, a retired talent manager who, after moving into a retirement home, reunites with his very first client, Buddy.

Seizing on a potential opportunity to make a successful comeback, Al convinces Buddy to go back on the road and do stand-up comedy again -- because "it's never too late, to get your act together."

Written and directed by indie filmmaker Greg Pritikin (Dummy), "The Last Laugh" is premiering on Netflix January 11th. Watch the trailer, above.
