Here are the House Rules: 1. Everyone must play. 2. No Outsiders allowed. 3. Nobody leaves.

Now, here's the official red band trailer for the upcoming psychological, trippy horror movie "Braid," in which two young wanted fugitives decide to rob their childhood friend, who happens to be a mentally unhinged heiress living inside a make-believe world. So in order to take her money, the two fugitives must participate in a demented role-playing game that grows increasingly more dangerous and violent.

Starring Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid's Tale, Orange Is the New Black) as the psycho heiress and Imogen Waterhouse (Nocturnal Animals) as Sarah Hay (Flesh and Bone, Black Swan) as two would-be thieves, the film marks the feature debut of writer-director Mitzi Peirone.

Touted as "the first pyscho-thriller funded by cryptocurrency" as it was mainly financed through an innovative deal with the blockchain tech company ConsenSys, "Braid," which premiered at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, is due to hit theaters and VOD on February 1, 2019.

synopsis:
Two wanted women decide to rob their wealthy yet mentally unstable friend who lives in a fantasy world they all created as children. To take her money, the girls must take part in a deadly and perverse game of make believe throughout a sprawling yet decaying estate. As things become increasingly violent and hallucinatory, they realize that obtaining the money may be the least of their concerns.
