Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) gets into a heated face-to-face confrontation with his villainous half-brother, Orm (Patrick Wilson), in this new international trailer for "Aquaman."

The new action-packed preview, which hails from China, is offering a bit of new footage from the much-anticipated DC superhero standalone movie, primarily focusing here on Aquaman's battles against Orm (Wilson) and Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).

The film, directed by action/horror maestro James Wan ("Furious 7" and "The Conjuring" Films), delves into Aquaman's origins and also the history between his human father (a lighthouse keeper named Tom Curry, played by veteran Maori actor Temuera Morrison) and his Atlantean mother (Queen Atlanna, played by none other than Nicole Kidman).

Co-starring Amber Heard as Atlantean guardian Mera, the film also follows Aquaman and Mera as they embark on a quest to retrieve Poseidon's mythical trident to fulfill Aquaman's destiny of becoming the true king of Atlantis.

"Aquaman" has recently received mostly positive reactions from early first screenings. And so far, the film is tracking quite well regarding box office expectations. The film is anticipated to make a huge splash in theaters beginning December 21st.
