"Fantastic Beasts" actress Katherine Waterston plays a young widow trying to uncover the truth behind her husband's sudden death in the official trailer for the neo-noir thriller "State Like Sleep."

Co-starring Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water) and Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast), with Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House) as Waterston's newly departed Belgian actor husband, the film follows a grief-stricken woman's emotional journey as she investigates her husband's mysterious suicide, retracing his final steps through the underbelly of Brussels.

Written and directed by documentarian Meredith Danluck (it's her first narrative feature), "State Like Sleep" premiered to mostly positive reviews at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The film is now slated to arrive on VOD beginning January 1st, with a limited theatrical roll-out on Jan. 4th.
