While driving across state lines, a young college student watches her life turn into a deadly game of survival when she accidentally makes a wrong turn and encounters two murderous hillbillies in the middle of the woods.

Check out the official trailer for "Rust Creek," a cat-and-mouse thriller that stars Hermione Corfield (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, xXx: Return of Xander Cage) as a spunky college senior named Sawyer who finds herself in dire straits when she gets lost in the Kentucky woods, only to get chased by a couple of dangerous outlaws (played by Homeland's Micah Hauptman and Daniel R. Hill). While in hot pursuit, Sawyer forms an unlikely alliance with a mysterious recluse named Lowell (played by Jay Paulson, from TV's "Mad Men" and the indie thriller "Black Rock").

Slated to hit theaters and VOD on January 4th, "Rust Creek" is directed by indie filmmaker Jen McGowan, who previously made 2014's SXSW-winning drama "Kelly & Cal," which starred Juliette Lewis and Jonny Weston.
