Check out the final trailer for "If Beale Street Could Talk," the upcoming film adaptation of James Baldwin's acclaimed 1974 novel of the same name.

The film, which is writer-director Barry Jenkins' much-anticipated follow-up to his Oscar-winning drama "Moonlight," stars Kiki Layne and Stephan James as Tish and Fonny, a young, newly engaged African-American couple in 1970s Harlem, New York. When Fonny is falsely accused of rape and subsequently thrown into prison, Tish, now pregnant with their first child, finds herself racing against the clock to prove Fonny's innocence.

Additionally, the cast includes Regina King, Colman Domingo, Teyonah Parris, Michael Beach, Emily Rios, Pedro Pascal, Dave Franco, Diego Luna, and Ed Skrein.

Since premiering to strong reviews at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, the movie is already being viewed as a possible Oscar contender.
