Get another look at the latest collaboration between Chris Pine and "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins.
"I Am The Night" is an upcoming six-episode limited series for the TNT network, which is inspired by the notorious Black Dahlia murder case.
Pine plays a washed-up L.A. reporter who is suddenly drawn into an investigation concerning the unsolved 1947 murder of Elizabeth Short (a.k.a. the Black Dahlia) after he is contacted by a mysterious teenage girl named Fauna Hodel (played by India Eisley) who claims to be related to Dr. George Hodel, an infamous Hollywood gynecologist who is believed by many to be the notorious "Black Dahlia" killer.
Co-starring Jefferson Mays, Leland Orser, and Connie Nielsen, "I Am The Night" is executive produced by Pine and Jenkins, who also directed the premiere episode.
The limited series, which is written by Sam Sheridan and is loosely based on Fauna Hodel's autobiography, will debut on TNT beginning Monday, January 28th. Watch the new official trailer, above.

Inspired by true events, I AM THE NIGHT tells the gripping story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), a teenage girl who is given away at birth, and grows up outside of Reno, Nevada. Fauna lives more-or-less comfortably with the mysteries of her origin, until one day she makes a discovery that leads her to question everything. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets of her past, she meets a ruined reporter (Chris Pine), haunted by the case that undid him. Together they follow a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Los Angeles gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in some of Hollywood's darkest debauchery, and possibly, its most infamous unsolved crime.
