Also starring Alice Eve (Marvel's Iron Fist), Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), and John Ortiz (Bumblebee), the sci-fi thriller follows Reeves's Will Foster, a synthetic biologist and devoted family man. When his wife and children are suddenly killed in a tragic car accident, Will is left with no other choice but to transfer their memories into synthetic replicas during a secret human cloning experiment. And in doing so, Will finds himself facing a litany of moral and ethical issues, which just might get him arrested and thrown into prison.

Scheduled to hit theaters January 11th, "Replicas" is directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, screenwriter of the disaster movie "The Day After Tomorrow" and the writer and director of 2008's undercover FBI thriller "Traitor."

synopsis:
After a car accident kills his family, a daring synthetic biologist (Keanu Reeves) will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force, and the physical laws of science.
