The Intruder — Official Trailer

Dennis Quaid plays a really creepy ex-house owner in the official trailer for the upcoming suspense thriller "The Intruder," which is also starring Michael Ealy (The Perfect Guy) and Meagan Good (Anchorman 2).

The film, directed by Deon Taylor (Traffik, Meet the Blacks), centers on a successful married couple (Ealy and Good) who have made the decision to purchase a picturesque cottage-style house from a seemingly innocuous seller (played by Quaid).

But once they move into their new Napa Valley estate, the couple are shocked to discover that the home's previous owner is still hanging around the property. Worse yet, he acts like he still owns the place. Which, by the way, is the house where his wife committed suicide -- or at least, that's what he wants them to believe.

Written by veteran screenwriter David Loughery (Obsessed, Lakeview Terrace, Dreamscape), "The Intruder" is hitting theaters on May 3, 2019.

When a young married couple (Michael Ealy and Meagan Good) buys their dream house in the Napa Valley, they think they have found the perfect home to take their next steps as a family. But when the strangely attached seller (Dennis Quaid) continues to infiltrate their lives, they begin to suspect that he has hidden motivations beyond a quick sale.
